Larix Screencaster: Live Stream Your Device's Screen Content
Larix Screencaster is a free utility and tools application available for iPhone users. Developed by Furtree Systems Inc., this program allows users to live stream the content on their device's screen. With Larix Screencaster, you can stream your screen content using various protocols such as RTMP/RTMPS, SRT, WebRTC, and more.
One of the notable features of Larix Screencaster is its support for the Zixi protocol, which enables advanced transmission techniques, AVC/HEVC codecs, SEI timestamps, and Grove support for live streaming. The program also offers live H.264/AAC encoding and HEVC/H.265 encoding for SRT, RTMP, RIST, and RTSP streaming.
Additionally, Larix Screencaster supports adaptive bitrate (ABR) in two modes: logarithmic descend and ladder ascend. Users can also enable variable FPS to reduce bitrate by decreasing FPS, depending on their device's capabilities.
Furthermore, Larix Screencaster allows users to stream to various media servers like Nimble Streamer, Wowza Streaming Engine, Red5, Flussonic, as well as popular streaming platforms such as Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and Twitch. Users can add multiple simultaneous connections and choose up to three connections for simultaneous streaming.
To ensure a seamless streaming experience, Larix Screencaster offers support for Limelight authentication, Akamai/Dacast authentication, and Periscope Producer. The program also provides comprehensive documentation for setup, usage, and streaming to popular platforms.
Please note that streaming for more than 5 minutes requires a premium subscription available via in-app purchase.
Larix Screencaster adheres to Apple's Standard License Agreement.
